1. Tuna
This fish is rich in nutrients, including niacin, pyridoxine, magnesium, potassium, and selenium, which can prevent and repair brown spots caused by sun exposure.
2. Foods rich in antioxidants
Spots on the skin can also appear due to free radical molecules that attack skin cells. Antioxidant-rich foods, such as fruits and nuts, can neutralize the harmful effects of these free radicals, and change the appearance of the skin.
Examples of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients from food that can prevent and remove spots on the skin include vitamin E, vitamin C, selenium, chromium, zinc, glutathione, calcium, and vitamin D. But remember, you should get these nutrients from food and not from supplements, unless recommended by a doctor.
3. Fruits that are like vitamin C
Fruits rich in vitamin C, such as oranges or pineapples, can prevent free radicals from damaging skin cells which result in brown spots on the skin. Vitamin C is also important for repairing skin tissue and fighting skin cancer.
4. Raw vegetables
Vegetables contain a lot of nutrients, especially fiber, vitamin C and B vitamins, which are important for healthy skin. It's even healthier if you eat vegetables in a raw state, because this can clean toxins from the body which cause the formation of spots on the skin.
That should be avoided
Consumption of high amounts of alcohol can trigger the appearance of spots on the skin. If you already have a lot of brown spots on your skin, you should avoid alcohol and cut back on caffeine, sugary foods, fried foods, and fatty foods.
