However, the side effects of steroid sheet masks usually appear after a complete stop. After two weeks of stopping wearing masks regularly, skin rashes can start to appear.

The face also experiences thinning so that the veins are clearly visible and protruding to a lighter skin tone in certain parts.

Glaucoma

Glaucoma is a disease that causes the pressure inside the eye to increase and it damages the optic nerve. There are several reports stating that a person experiences glaucoma after using long-term topical steroids around the eyes. This means that this risk can arise when you use it regularly sheet mask containing steroids.
