Uses
What is profertile used for?
Profertile is for women who are in a pregnant program. This drug is also usually used for women who have fertility problems. This drug works by stimulating an increase in the amount of hormones that release mature eggs.
Apart from treating fertility problems in women, profertil can also be used as a treatment for oligospermia in men. Oligospermia is a condition in which the male body produces too little sperm.
Profertil is a drug with the active substance clomiphene citrate, also known as clomid. In women, this drug stimulates the pituitary gland to release hormones necessary for ovulation to occur.
Generally, this drug is given to women who have certain health conditions that cause ovulation to not occur normally in their body. One example is a female patient with polycystic ovary syndrome or polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS).
Not much different from women, profertile in men works by increasing the production of certain hormones in the body, so that testosterone levels and sperm production increase.

What is the profertile dosage for adults?
Profertile is a drug whose dosage must be used every day as directed by a doctor. The profertile dose for women is usually 1 tablet a day. The doctor will usually ask you to take the medicine for 5 days, starting from the 5th day of your menstrual cycle.
From this note the doctor will know whether ovulation has occurred, and if you have not had a menstrual period, you should do a pregnancy test. You should not take profertile tablets if you are pregnant.
For men, the recommended professional dose is 1 tablet a day, and is taken for 40-90 days.
What is the profertile dosage for children?
The safety and effectiveness of this drug have not been determined for children under 18 years of age. Provision of profertile drugs for children must be carried out under the supervision of a doctor.
In what dosage is profertile available?
Pofertil is available as a tablet dosage of 50 mg.
