Stomach sounds are always happening all the time

What sound do you hear from your stomach? Do you hear the sound "krucuk-krucuk" or something else? Actually the sound you hear there is only one type of sound and this is normal for everyone. The stomach not only sounds when you feel hungry, but actually this sound is produced all the time and this is normal for everyone.

However, in some cases, stomach sounds may be a symptom and sign of a disease. In the stomach there are various digestive systems that always work when there is or no food in them. There are two types of sounds caused by the stomach, namely:

Hypoactive. Hypoactive stomach sounds are stomach sounds that sound small or even barely audible if you don't use special tools. This sound is not heard because there is a decrease in activity in the digestive tract. This often happens when you are sleeping. If the activity of the gastrointestinal tract decreases, this indicates that you are constipated.

Hyperactive. In contrast to hypoactivity, this hyperactive stomach sound can be heard clearly even though you don't use a special instrument such as a stethoscope. This usually occurs for a short time and is heard due to increased gastrointestinal activity. If you hear very loud stomach sounds, it could be that you have diarrhea or this sound could occur after mealtime.

Gastrointestinal activity is what causes stomach sounds and is known as peristalsis. Peristalsis is an automatic movement carried out by the digestive tract in the body which aims to push food by means of squeezing movements so that food can be pushed to the next digestive tract.

This squeezing motion is done unconsciously and is directly regulated by the brain. Therefore, these movements are carried out continuously by the digestive tract, so that stomach sounds can be heard at any time.
