Why is it, the body sometimes feels thirsty all the time? First thing to know, thirst is the body's way of giving a signal to you, if your body is lacking fluids. In addition, it is normal for the body to become thirsty, because it needs water to run the body's metabolism. When thirst continues, it is caused by changing water levels and an imbalance in salt levels in the body.

1. You have diabetes
There are two possibilities if you feel thirsty constantly, namely you may have diabetes mellitus (diabetes) or diabetes insipidus (a disease that is less common).
If you have diabetes mellitus, you can run the risk of being thirsty without you knowing it. You see, when you have diabetes, your body sugar levels will definitely be high. Your kidneys will produce more urine to get rid of excess glucose which makes sugar levels high. Not infrequently, you will continue to urinate later. Now, by continuing to urinate, the body will indicate a lack of fluids, and of course, you will feel thirsty continuously.
Apart from feeling thirsty constantly, if you have diabetes mellitus, you can feel hungry all the time. In contrast to diabetes insipidus where you just feel thirsty continuously without being accompanied by a continuous feeling of hunger.
