1. The color of the nipple changes

According to a woman health expert, dr. Jennifer Wider, the color of your nipples will turn darker when you are aroused. This discoloration actually means that the volume of blood in the areola and nipple has increased.

When a woman is aroused, blood vessels in various parts of the body will widen, as well as in the breasts. This makes blood flow to the breast more profuse. So, your breast area will turn red while the nipples will be darker in color.

2. The nipples become harder

Previously, the nipples may have felt soft and tender. However, when the breasts are aroused, the nipple will experience an erection. This means that your nipples are hardened and appear to be denser.

This occurs due to increased blood flow in the nipple and areola area. Blood fills your previously limp nipples. So, when touched or given stimulation, the nipples become denser and harder.

3. Enlarged breasts

Yes, women's breasts will naturally enlarge when aroused. In fact, according to a study in 1966, experts found that women's breasts can increase up to 25% larger when aroused. Due to enlargement, the breasts become more sensitive to touch. Some women even claim to be able to reach orgasm just because their breasts are aroused.
