Tiapride is a drug used to treat a variety of neurological and mental disorders including dyskinesia, alcohol withdrawal syndrome, negative symptoms of psychosis, and agitation and aggression in the elderly.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: there is insufficient information about the safety of using this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Side effects
What are the possible side effects of Tiapride?
Parkinson's symptoms, drowsiness, agitation, insomnia, convulsions, dizziness, nasal congestion, animuscarinic symptoms (e.g. dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, difficulty with urinating and mydriasis), ECG changes, cardiac arrhythmias, orthostatic hypotension, photosensitization, corneal thickness and lenda. Delirium, nightmares, depression, ejaculation, impotence, priapism, hypersensitivity reactions.
Fatal potential: blood dyscrasias, neuroleptic malignant syndrome.
