Use
What is Sertaconazole for?
Sertaconazole is a medication used to treat water fleas on the feet, or athlete's foot. Sertaconazole is an azole antifungal that works by inhibiting mold growth. This medication can also be used for other fungal skin infections.
What are the rules for using Sertaconazole?
Use this medication only on the skin. Clean and dry the area to be treated. Apply this medication to the skin 2 times a day or as directed by your doctor. Apply enough medicine to cover the skin area and several surrounding skin areas. After using this remedy, wash your hands. Do not bandage, cover or wrap the area except as directed by a doctor. Do not use this medication for more than recommended. Your condition won't get better any faster, but the side effects can increase.
Do not use this medication in the eyes, nose, mouth or vagina.
Use this drug regularly to get optimal benefits. To help you remember, use this medication at the same time every day.
Continue to use this medication until the prescribed amount is finished, even if symptoms disappear after starting sertaconazole. Stopping the drug too early can cause the fungus to continue to grow, which can lead to a recurrence of the infection.
Tell your doctor if your condition does not improve after 2 weeks of treatment or if it gets worse.
