Monuril is a brand of liquid medicine that is used by mouth.

How to use monuril?

There are several steps that must be taken to use monuril, including:

• This medicine is taken on an empty stomach, either 2-3 hours before eating or 2-3 hours after eating.
• This medication is best taken at bedtime after urinating.
• Dissolve this medicinal liquid in a glass of water and drink immediately afterward.
• Use this drug in accordance with the dose prescribed by the doctor, not less or more or do not use it for longer than the time prescribed by the doctor.

One sachet of monuril with a dose of 3 grams, taken once.

Adult dosage for infection prevention while undergoing surgical procedures

One sachet of monuril with a dose of 3 grams, taken 3 hours before surgery. You may be given a further dose of 3 grams within 24 hours of surgery.

What is the dose of monuril for children?

This medicine should not be used in children, especially those under 12 years of age. Consult your doctor for further drug use.

Side effects

What side effects might occur if using monuril?

Monuril has side effects of using drugs that you should be aware of. The side effects of using this drug range from mild to quite serious. Mild side effects include:
