- Cimetidine (Tagamet): Cimetidine (Tagamet) can rapidly decrease the body's caffeine. Taking cimetidine (Tagamet) along with cafcit might increase your risk of caffeine side effects including nervousness, headache, increased heart rate, and other side effects.
- Lithium: cafcit can increase the speed at which the body gets rid of lithium from the body. If you are consuming caffeine-containing products and you are also consuming lithium, stop consuming caffeine products slowly. Quitting too quickly can also increase the side effects of lithium.
- Birth control pills: birth control pills can decrease how quickly the body gets rid of cafes. Taking cafcit along with birth control pills can cause nervousness, headache, fast heartbeat, and other side effects.
