What is the dosage for Tolazoline Hydrochloride for adults?

Oral Peripheral vascular disease Adults: 25-50 mg 4 times daily. Parenteral Peripheral vascular disease Adult: Up to 50 mg by SC, IM, IV or slow intra-arterial injection.

What is the dosage of Tolazoline Hydrochloride for children?

Through blood vessels Neonatal pulmonary hypertension: Initially 1 mg / kg by IV injection over 2-5 minutes, followed by continuous IV infusion of 200 mcg / kg / day (diluted with 5% glucose or 0.9% sodium chloride) if needed. Monitor BP closely. Doses> 300 mcg / kg / day are associated with cardiotoxicity and renal failure. Endotracheal Neonatal pulmonary hypertension: 200 mcg / kg diluted with 0.5-1 ml 0.9% sodium chloride for injection.

What to do in an emergency or overdose?

In case of an emergency or overdose, contact the local emergency services provider (118/119) or immediately to the nearest hospital emergency department. Symptoms of overdose include: Increased pilomotor activity, peripheral vasodilation, skin flushing, hypotension and shock. Management: use IV fluids and tilt the patient's head lower on the treatment of hypotension. Epinephrine should not be used because high doses of tolazoline can result in a further drop in blood pressure levels, followed by an excessive rebound.

What should I do if I forget to take medicine or forget to take medicine?
