How do you use the drug Thioridazine?

This may be done from time to time. Do not stop or decrease the dose of your medicine without talking to your doctor first. Some conditions can get worse when the medicine is stopped suddenly. - Headache with chest pain and severe dizziness, fainting, fast or pounding heartbeat

Less serious side effects may include:
- Sleepy
- Dry mouth, stuffy nose
- Vomiting, constipation, diarrhea
- Swollen breasts
- Changes in menstrual periods
- Weight gain, swelling in the hands or feet
- Impotence, having problems with orgasms
- Increased or decreased interest in sex
- Mild itching or skin rash.

Initial dose: 50-100 mg orally 3 times a day.
Maintenance dose: Can be gradually increased to 200-800 mg / day in 2 to 4 divided doses.
