Use
What is Alclometasone for?
Alclometasone is a medication to treat various skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, allergies, rashes. Alclometasone can reduce the swelling, itching, redness that can occur with these types of conditions. This medication is a low to moderate strength corticosteroid.
What are the rules for using Alclometasone?
Use alclometasone only on the skin. However, do not use it on the face, groin, armpits or for diaper rash unless directed by a doctor.
Wash and dry hands before use. Clean and dry the area. Apply a thin layer of the medication to the area and rub gently, usually 2-3 times a day or as directed by your doctor. Do not bandage, cover or wrap the area unless instructed by a doctor. If used close to the diaper area of babies, do not use tight diapers or plastic pants.
After applying the medicine, wash your hands, unless you are using this medicine on your hands. When applying the medicine near the eye, avoid it getting into the eye as it can worsen or cause glaucoma. Also avoid medications from the eyes, nose or mouth. If the medicine gets on the area, rinse it off with water.
Use this medication only for the conditions for which it is intended. Do not use on children for more than 3 weeks in a row unless according to doctor's instructions. Tell your doctor if condition does not improve or even gets worse after 2 weeks.
How to store Alclometasone?
This medication is best stored at room temperature, away from direct light and damp places. Don't keep it in the bathroom. Don't freeze it. Other brands of this drug may have different storage rules. Observe the storage instructions on the product package or ask your pharmacist. Keep all medicines away from children and pets.
Do not flush medicines down the toilet or down the drain unless instructed to do so. Discard this product when it has expired or when it is no longer needed. Consult your pharmacist or local waste disposal company about how to safely dispose of your product.

Side effects
What side effects may occur due to Alclometasone?

Stop using the drug and contact your doctor immediately if you experience serious irritation or show signs of absorbing topical alclometasone through the skin, such as:

- Sleep disturbance (insomnia)
- Increased body weight, facial swelling
- Muscle weakness, feeling tired.
The less serious side effects of alclometasone can include:
- Mild skin rash, itching, burning
- Thinning of the skin
- Skin rash or irritation around the mouth
- Swelling of hair follicles
- Skin discoloration
- Blisters, pimples or crusts
- Stretch marks.
